These 13 operators are the ones we have looked into for sports betting. Each holds a licence we checked against the Gaming Commission of Ghana register, on the date shown, and each shows what it declares about itself beside what the register actually says. For three of them what we found was that no Ghanaian product stands behind the licence, and we say so. They are a selection, not the whole market — the register lists 32 holders in this class and we publish every one of them.

Melbet's Ghana pages are unmaintained. Its slots page instructs Ghanaian registrants to enter a Mumbai address and postcode, and its homepage still runs a Pakistan Super League promotion whose stated dates ran 17.02.2024 to 18.03.2024. This bears directly on how much weight the Ghana licence claims elsewhere on those same pages deserve.

What we found — our own observation, not a claim by the operator
The only payment sentence Betwinner publishes on its Ghana domain names WebMoney and Qiwi — Russian systems — and no Ghanaian mobile-money provider is named anywhere on the pages the server sends. The site also advertises “over 1,000 daily events” while its own feed returned 10,677 at the moment we read it. Both read as untouched boilerplate on a country-specific domain.

Betika states its licence twice and the two do not agree. The footer names “SHADE GOLD COAST Limited” and prints two licence numbers; the terms and conditions name “Shade Goldcoast Limited”, make the same licensing claim, and print no number at all. Neither page refers to the other. The spelling difference matters for anyone trying to match the entity against a company register.

Premier Bet holds a current Ghana Sports Betting licence, and its Ghana-facing site is a non-operational clone of its Malawi one. The footer declares a Malawi licence, the deposit minimums are quoted in Malawi Kwacha, the contact number is +265 (Malawi, not Ghana's +233), the shop finder lists 181 addresses in Lilongwe and Blantyre, and the terms are governed by the laws of Malawi. The Gaming Commission of Ghana is never named. Every Ghana sportsbook endpoint returns HTTP 410 Maintenance, while the same paths on other markets route normally — so there is no sportsbook to catalogue. The dedicated premierbet.com.gh domain does not resolve at all, though the operator's own pages still link to it.

BetKing holds a current Ghana Sports Betting licence and has no Ghana product behind it. betking.com.gh redirects to a single page reading “SuperPicks has retired”, which serves the same document for every path. That page carries a per-country message: Nigeria's sends players on to betking.com and South Africa's to supersportbet.com, while Ghana's offers no onward destination at all. BetKing's own sitemap contains only Nigerian URLs, and no Ghanaian entity, address or licence is named anywhere on its properties. This was reachable normally from our connection, so it is a shutdown and not a block.

22Bet's Ghana site refuses our connection. Every path on 22bet.com.gh — including ones that do not exist — redirects to a block page, so no licence statement, payment list or sportsbook could be read. The block page itself renders no text without scripting; its wording resolves through the operator's own configuration to “Access denied!” and “This website is not available in your country.”, which is a reconstruction from its config rather than a quote read off a rendered page, and is recorded as such. The block reports our location as Mauritius, so what is established is that 22Bet blocks the country it detects for us — not that it blocks Europe.

What we found — our own observation, not a claim by the operator
BC Game is the only operator in this pass that publishes its Ghanaian licence certificates itself: two scans, naming Quantis Point Limited Company, trading as “BC GAMES”, for online sports betting and online casino, issued 1 January 2026 and expiring 31 December 2026. The register lists the trade name as “BC GAME”. Against that, the licence page linked from the site's own menu credits the Government of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan for bc.game and does not mention Ghana or the Gaming Commission anywhere — so a reader is told one thing in the footer and another on the page devoted to licensing, with neither acknowledging the other. Ghana is also absent from the product's own plumbing: no Ghanaian locale among its 35, no Ghana sitemap, no Ghana region for the sports sidebar where Nigeria has one, and no Ghanaian payment method named anywhere in its code.
