Why say so at all

Because the alternative is what this site did before, and it was a mistake worth being specific about. Until August 2026 the predictions here carried a byline with a biography, a stated career at two well-known bookmakers, and a schema.org profile telling search engines he was a real individual. None of it was attached to a human being. It was deleted, and the instruction not to repeat it is written into the repository.

The rest of this site is built on one argument: every licence, every tax rate, every bonus term is transcribed from a named source with the date we read it, and where we cannot source something we leave it blank and say so. An author nobody can check is not a small inconsistency against that. It is the argument, refuted, on every page it appears.

So the byline stays — a voice is genuinely useful, and football is not written well in the passive — but it is disclosed everywhere it is used. Every article footer carries “a pen name, not a person” and a link back to this page.

What the name does and does not mean

It is a tone

Direct, warm, sometimes teasing, at home in the Ghana Premier League and with the Ghanaians playing in Europe. Written for someone who follows their own league, not for someone who has to be told what the Super Clash is.

It is not a track record

The name has no history of its own to appeal to. What it has is the record on this site: every prediction settled in public, on the page it was made, won or lost.

It is not expertise you should defer to

A prediction here is an opinion about a football match. It carries no source, because there is none to carry — nobody can source a result that has not happened. The facts on this site are kept somewhere else and marked as facts.

The rules the predictions are written under

1. Every prediction is settled in public, on the page it was made.

   Once the match is played the article is edited, never replaced: a paragraph is added saying whether the call came off, and the modification date changes. Nothing is quietly deleted, and a losing tip stays exactly where it was posted.

2. The price printed is the price at the moment it was read.

   It carries the provider and the timestamp, and it is never updated afterwards. A slip re-priced after kick-off is a different slip, and editing one is the most common way a tipping record turns into fiction.

3. No running profit, no ROI, no strike rate presented as a headline.

   The Gaming Commission's advertising guidelines forbid an operator's advertising from implying that gambling is a source of regular income, and a profit counter beside an affiliate link is the clearest possible form of that. The settled record is published in full; a number claiming it makes money is not.

4. A prediction is an opinion, and says so.

   It is not a measurement, it carries no source, and it is not covered by anything else on this site. Where a page states a fact — a licence, a tax rate, a bonus term — that fact is transcribed and dated, and it is kept visibly apart from the opinion.
