Two Black Stars found the net for their clubs this week, and two more set up goals for a teammate. This list follows the 23 players called up for Ghana’s last two matches, the 2-4 loss to Gambia on Tuesday 29 September 2026 and the 2-0 defeat away to Ivory Coast on Thursday 24 September 2026, both in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

A. Boakye got the first one. Saint Étienne won 1-0 at home to Nantes on Saturday 24 October 2026 in Ligue 2, and Boakye scored in 97 minutes on the pitch, picking up a yellow card along the way. F. Afena-Gyan got the other, coming off the bench for just 31 minutes as Iğdır FK won 2-1 away at Bandırmaspor in Turkey’s 1. Lig, also on Saturday 24 October 2026. On the assist side, C. Bonsu Baah teed one up as Al-Qadisiyah FC won 1-0 away at Al Taawon on Tuesday 20 October 2026 in the Saudi Pro League, before his side lost 2-3 at home to Al-Hilal Saudi FC three days later. B. Thomas-Asante set up a goal too, in Coventry’s 1-3 defeat away at Tottenham on Monday 19 October 2026 in the Premier League, then played another 67 minutes in a 0-1 home loss to Fulham on Saturday 24 October 2026.

J. Anang and C. Bonsu Baah were the only two to clock 180 minutes across the week. Anang played every minute of both St Patrick’s Athletic league games in Ireland, a 1-0 defeat away at Derry City on Monday 19 October 2026 and a goalless draw away at Galway United on Friday 23 October 2026. A handful of others were close to a full match without matching that total. L. Zigi went the distance in a 2-0 away defeat at BSC Young Boys on Saturday 24 October 2026, and R. Donkor did the same as New York Red Bulls won 2-0 at home to Inter Miami the same day. R. Ibrahim and K. Peprah Oppong both played 69 minutes in the Champions League on Tuesday 20 October 2026, Ibrahim in a 0-4 defeat away at AS Roma, Peprah Oppong in a 2-2 draw at home to Slavia Praha. A. Fatawu played 73 minutes in Ipswich’s 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest on Friday 23 October 2026, and C. Marfo Yirenkyi was on the pitch for both Coventry games, 60 minutes against Tottenham and 67 against Fulham. E. Nuamah and E. Annan had the shortest outings among those who featured, 15 minutes for Lyon in a 0-3 Europa League defeat at 1899 Hoffenheim on Thursday 22 October 2026, and 12 minutes for Rapid in a 1-4 loss away at FCSB on Saturday 24 October 2026.

Nine of the 23 players picked up no minutes at all this week. Three of them were on the bench without coming on: I. Sulemana as Sassuolo lost 2-0 away at Como on Saturday 24 October 2026, G. Mensah as 1. FC Köln drew 0-0 at home to FC Schalke 04 the same day, and A. Djiku as Spartak Moscow lost 2-0 away at CSKA Moscow on Sunday 25 October 2026. Six more were not in the matchday squad at all: B. Tetteh as Al-Ittihad Kalba drew 2-2 away at Al-Wasl FC on Thursday 22 October 2026, M. Fuseini through both of Union St. Gilloise’s wins that week, B. Asare as Hearts of Oak beat Basake Holy Stars 1-0 at home on Friday 23 October 2026, J. Adjetey as VfL Wolfsburg drew 1-1 away at VfL Bochum, K. Sibo as Oviedo drew 2-2 away at Almería, and R. Yeboah as IFK Goteborg drew 1-1 away at Gais. J. Opoku’s club, Başakşehir, did not play a match this week at all.

The next time the Black Stars are together is set for Wednesday 11 November 2026, 17:00 Accra time, at home to Somalia in the Africa Cup of Nations 2027 qualifiers. Plenty of these players will be hoping a few more club minutes land before then.
