Responsible Gambling — Singapore
Gambling is entertainment — not a way to make money. It carries real financial risks and can become addictive. If you or someone you know is struggling with gambling, help is available in Singapore.
Warning Signs of Problem Gambling
- Spending more money or time gambling than you can afford
- Gambling to escape problems or relieve stress
- Lying to family or friends about your gambling habits
- Feeling irritable or anxious when you're not gambling
- Chasing losses — betting more to try to win back what you've lost
- Neglecting work, family or personal responsibilities because of gambling
Self-Help Tools
- Set deposit, loss and wagering limits with your bookmaker
- Use time-out features to take a break from gambling
- Self-exclude from one or all licensed bookmakers in your market
- Use blocking software (Gamban, Betfilter) to restrict access to betting sites
